Erema Heating elements

EREMA Heating Element Type SGR

SGR Type elements are made from very dense silicon carbide, featuring a return spiral groove allowing connection at one end. The resistance and allowable surface loadings of the SGR Type are substantially higher than other silicon carbide elements, consequently operating voltages are higher and current draw lower.

EREMA Heating Element Type SG

SG-type elements, with a spiral-grooved heating section, are more resistant to heat and corrosion than conventional products and are able to withstand operation in rigorous conditions. The interior of elements with large diameters can be used as a tube furnace. As in Type E, SG elements are provided with energy-saving, low-resistance, cold-end terminals.

EREMA Heating Element Type W

Three-legged W-type elements, with the terminals at one end, are designed for three-phase power source applications, such as the float glass process.

EREMA Heating Element Type U

Two EREMA E-types are constructed to from a U-shape. Consequently Type U have the terminals at one end (similar to Type SGR) for a single-phase power source. This reduces the number terminations and cold ends thus enabling energy savings.

EREMA Heating Element Type E&F

These are improved versions of the D-type. Modifications have been made to reduce the cold-end terminal resistance and heat loss. When used in general-purpose industrial furnaces, they can reduce energy consumption by as much as 5% to 10% compared with the D-type.

EREMA Heating Element Type D

The D element is made from high-density, high-purity silicon carbide. Using the most modern production technology and expertise developed by TKK from past experience, Type D features high oxidation resistance, heat resistance and reinforced strength.
