Duplex-Insulated Thermocouples

Ninomiya Structure figure

Conductor : Thermocouple element wire1
Insulation : PVC, Silicone-rubber, Fluorocarbon-resin FEP, Glass fiber, Silica-glass fiber, Ceramic-fiber

Ninomiya K-super ultrathin

Ultrathin fluorocarbon duplex insulated thermocouple wire is made of K thermocouple elemental wires (Chromel/Alumel) correspond with JIS C 1602 and coated with fluorocarbon-resin (PFA) for insulation.

Ninomiya Fluorocarbon-resin duplex-insulated thermocouple wire

Duplex-insulated thermocouple wires insulated and sheathed with fluorocarbon-resin FEP. FEP is an ideal insulation material with various excellent properties such as electrical properties, heat-resistance, cold-resistance, oil-resistance, chemical-resistance, etc. This series can be used in a wide range of temperatures from -250℃ to +200℃.

Ninomiya Ceramic duplex-insulated K type (K-CERAC, K-CF)

Duplex-insulated thermocouple wires insulated and sheathed with super-heat resistant ceramic fiber. This series has excellent heat-resistance, electrical insulation resistance, and flexibility.
The strength of the wire does not weakened so much up to maximum operating temperature of thermocouple elemental wire (under normal condition).

Ninomiya Silica-glass duplex-insulated K type (K-SLGB)

Duplex-insulated thermocouple wires insulated and sheathed with silica-glass fiber.

Maximum operating temperature under normal condition is 400℃, and short-time maximum operating temperature under overheating condition is 600℃ (500℃ when diameter of conductor is 0.32 mm).

Ninomiya Glass duplex-insulted K type thermocuple wires (k-Hh)

Duplex-insulated thermocouple wires insulated and sheathed with glass fiber, and coated with heat-resistant inorganic coating to improve heat-resistance and insulation properties. Maximum operating temperature under normal condition is 350℃, and short-time maximum operating temperature under overheating condition is 400℃.

Ninomiya Glass duplex-insulated thermocouple wires

Duplex-insulated thermocouple wires insulated and sheathed with glass fiber. Glass is one of the most common heat-resistant insulation materials which can be used under temperature up to 250℃. However it is not suitable for use in dump environments because of its low insulation resistance.

Ninomiya PVC cover thermocouple wires

Duplex insulated thermocouple wires insulated and sheathed with heat-resistant PVC.
PVC is one of the most common insulation materials which can be used under temperature up to 90℃, and with excellent electrical & mechanical properties and water-resistance.
